Cancellation of SMU overseas trips

In view of the evolving situation on the Wuhan coronavirus, SMU has cancelled all forthcoming official overseas trips, such as exchange programmes, to China, Hong Kong and Macau.  We are in contact with our students to explore alternative options.

We will continue to monitor the situation, reach out to our Chinese partner universities and take guidance from official advisories released by the authorities. The safety and well-being of our students, faculty and staff remain the University’s top priority, and we will provide the best possible assistance to them.
